Profile Barbara is a managing director who believes very much in a "hands on" approach. Her involvement and presence in the office on a day to day basis ensures that she is in touch with the needs of her staff and clients. In the ever-changing world of property management this approach enables Mackay Rentals to be at the forefront of changes in legislation, technology and client support. She believes a team which is able to respond to these changes is in the best position to maximise the return on properties in their care and maintain that return in the long run. Barbara oversees the general operations of our team and ensures that all aspects of Mackay Rentals are up to date and in accordance with the relevant legislation. Barbara has been involved in property management since 1988. A current member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) and the Body Corporate Manager's Institute of Queensland (BCMIQ), she has been a member of the State Committee of REIQ for 4 years and enjoyed bringing back the latest information and systems to the Mackay District. As a member of the local REIQ Property Management Chapter Barbara attends the monthly meetings which include training and guest speakers on all aspects of Property Management. The skills and information gathered in this forum and other industry events is used as the basis for training sessions within Mackay Rentals.
